Can anybody access the storage building?
No. All of our facilities entry points are controlled by a computerized access system. Only current tenants who have a valid access code are able to gain entry to the storage facility. The code also allows us to monitor who is entering the facility.
Are there moving trucks available to use?
Some of our facilities offer a free truck for use during move-in. Once you have identified a specific facility, we recommend contacting the facility directly to see if this option is available. Contact information is available online once you select a facility.
Can I buy boxes and other packing supplies from StorageMAX?
Yes. All our facilities offer a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies. For a full list of supplies please see our supplies page. If you do not see a specific item you are looking for contact the Store Manager and it can usually be ordered for you.
Do you have moving carts available?
Yes. All StorageMAX storage facilities maintain an inventory of carts that may be used free of charge.
What is climate control?
Climate control is a feature that we offer at many of our facilities. Climate controlled facilities maintain a temperature of 55 to 85 degrees. This feature helps protect your stored belongings from the extreme temperatures.
Does StorageMAX provide a lock for the storage space?
You have two options when securing your storage unit. You can purchase a new lock at your local StorageMAX facility. Or you can bring a lock you already own. We offer a variety of sizes and types of locks and recommend purchasing a disc lock to ensure the highest level of security.
What's the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The office hours are the hours of operation for the property. During these hours the Store Manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs or the purchase of moving and packing supplies. The gate hours are the hours of the property, and when your unit can be accessed. If you require access outside of our standard gate hours ask your Store Manager for information about 24-hour access.
How far in advance can I book a reservation?
We give you the flexibility to book a reservation up to 30 days in advance to help you plan ahead.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We accept several major credit cards, including MasterCard®, Visa®, and American Express®
How do I pay my monthly bill?
At StorageMAX we give you several options to make your monthly payment. With our AutoDebit program, we can automatically charge your Mastercard®, Visa®, or American Express® card each month. You can send us a check via mail each month. Or you can stop by you local StorageMAX location during office hours and pay your account in person.
What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?
We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs. Sizes range from 4x4 cubes all the way up to 10x30 rooms. Determining the right size is easy with the help of our Store Managers who are trained to assist you in this process. To determine the sizes available at a location near you contact the Store Manager.
Am I renting the space month-to-month or am I on a lease?
Your agreement is month-to-month with StorageMAX. You can move out whenever you want.
Do I get a discount if I commit to a longer stay?
Talk to your Storage Manager for any Long Term Discounts available.
